What is WISMO?

Where Is My Order, i.e. WISMO, allows you to quickly track the status of an order by its order reference. The result contains the:  

  • estimated time of arrival 

  • actual time of arrival 

  • status of the order 

  • vehicle data: 

  • driver name 

  • registration.  

  • order reference 

If a matching result is found the response is in the format: 

The statuses mean the following: 

  • N = New 

  • U = Unknown, because the order reference supplied is incorrect 

  • A =  Active, note that updates to ETA will only be identified if the journey is in this status. 

  • X = Aborted 

If no matching result is found the response returns no estimated or actual arrival times or vehicle data, and a status of U: 

The results returned are related to TMC Consignments only. The data is updated at a frequency which is configurable, but by default you can expect this to be up to date and accurate to within 3 minutes.

Existing Users of WISMO 

You are an existing user of WISMO if you are currently calling the below URLs being authenticated via a Bearer Token.

As done currently, you will need to regularly update your Token as it will expire.  However, we would recommend migrating to the method outlined in ‘New Users: API Keys’ if possible.
